Horses

Lassie is a Connemara cross who is as patient as she is cute. Her smooth gates and laid back attitude under saddle allow her to be ridden in almost any situation. She especially loves taking leisurely trail rides, admiring the scenery. Never in a hurry, she is one of the most dependable members of our herd.

Remy is affectionately know as our Flying Dutchman. He has the build of a typical Dutch Harness Horse but doesn’t know it. His favorite activity is “flying” around his jumping courses showing off his amazing consistency and generosity as he teaches so many riders the joys of jumping. He is as sweet as can be and enjoys just about any treat offered to him.

Stella is a big talent in a smaller body. She is a Warmblood cross with big movement and a heart of gold. She is always willing to try what you ask but may also offer her opinion, usually in a subtle way. Super sweet on the ground she loves to be groomed and fussed over.

Oliver is a big, handsome boy with a puppy dog personality. He is a Perch/TB cross and is our gentle giant at the farm. He enjoys just about every activity even though he may not always be the bravest. As long as he has a companion he loves enjoying the scenery on the trails. He is also a dependable jumper and tolerates his dressage days.

Vanina is one the newer additions to our herd. This Selle Francais mare had an impressive career as an international jumper and has come to us for a quieter life and to pass along her knowledge to new partners. While she excels in jumping, her dressage is also very correct. Her in-your-pocket personality and love of bananas has endeared her to everyone she meets.

Titan is an appendix with a bit of a mind of his own. With very smooth gates he is a wonderful horse to use for lunge lessons. While always capable sometimes he has to be convinced that he actually has the energy for the task at hand. However, once his mind is on his task he can be a star. He has a playful “pony” personality that keeps us all on our toes.
